Senior Accountant is a mid-to-senior level finance professional responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Maintain general ledger and prepare financial statements
- Handle reconciliations, AP/AR, and month-end closing
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and local regulations
- Assist with audits and internal controls
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–6 years of accounting experience
- Hands-on experience with general ledger, AP/AR, and reconciliations
- experience in month-end and year-end closing
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Nice to have
- CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification
- Prior experience in the same industry (e.g., contracting)
- Exposure to GCC/Kuwait market operations
- Financial modeling and advanced reporting skills
